Aristotle once asked, “What is the essence of life? To serve others and to do good.” At Twin City Mission, we partner with thousands of volunteers each year to serve others and do good.

 

Join the Mission’s team of volunteers to show compassion, love, and kindness to our neighbors in need.

 

We are fortunate to live in a community where people are committed to bettering the lives of those around them. If you or your organization want to be directly involved in serving our community then Twin City Mission can find a place for you.

Recurring Volunteer Opportunities

  • Community Closet- Schedules volunteers Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:00 am-11:00 am.
     

  • Resale stores- Schedules volunteers
    Tuesday- Saturday 9:00- 5:00 pm.
     

  • Picking up leftover food from our partnership
    restaurants and dropping it off at our
    Community Café. The times and shifts vary.
     

  • Community Café- Schedules
    Monday, Tuesday,
    Wednesday and Friday for
    the lunch shift
    11:00 am-1:00 pm and
    the dinner shift from
    4:00-6:00 pm.

Top Donation Needs

  • Kitchen and household items. Examples: utensils, plates, cups, cooking utensils, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, bed linens (all sizes), broom, and mop.
     

  • Toiletry/ hygiene items
     

  • Towels
     

  • Sleeping Pillows
     

  • Laundry Pods
     

  • Twin Sheets
