Britney Marburger came from Houston nearly 18 months ago. She has been an active volunteer with non-profits as well as a professional organizer for over 18 years while raising her now 22-year-old Aggie son (Whoop), her proudest accomplishment in life. She has a psychology background and loves helping others to grow and see their full potential. Since joining the Youth and Family Services Team, Britney has learned so much about all the wonderful services TCM offers throughout Brazos and the surrounding counties. She is amazed daily in the big and small acts of this job that truly make a huge impact on the families we help. At the end of the day, if Britney feels like she has been able to help or touch someone’s life in a more positive way, for her that is a GREAT day, filled with so many blessings and joy!

Theresa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. She has been working in the field of social services for over twenty years. Theresa has worked as a probation officer (adult and juvenile) and as a youth service specialist in various school districts. She enjoys working with youth and their families. Treating others with respect and dignity is what Theresa believes to be very important.

Yolanda has lived in the Brazos Valley her entire life and enjoys serving the community she grew up in. She has a passion for helping the families she serves and building new relationships with each one of them. She enjoys spending time with her own family and grandson, working out, and traveling.
Yolanda studied Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University and received her Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Blinn College. Later she decided she wanted to get into education. Her work experience is in working for the public education system for many years, in different roles, with children of all ages, and as a home visitor with the Head Start program. . She enjoys working with children and their families from all different cultures. Yolanda’s inspiration comes from the fulfillment she gets from helping the families and seeing them succeed.

Tricia is originally from New Braunfels, Texas, but has lived in College Station since 1989 when she moved to attend college. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. After working in the mental health field for a few years, she decided to continue her education and in 2007, graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin with a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Basic Certification in Conflict Resolution. She is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Tricia’s career involves working at MHMR with adults that have chronic and severe mental illnesses, working with babies and children with developmental delays with Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), and working at Voices for Children advocating for youth in foster care. She is a proud mom of 3 beautiful girls. Tricia enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. She strives to be encouraging and to help people and empower them to meet their potential.

Billy Rowell is originally from Whitney, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1985. During the next twenty plus years, Billy taught in several different schools as a Teacher, Athletic Trainer and Coach. Billy took some time away from education to pursue other endeavors, but came back to it in 2015. He is looking forward to working with our clients and putting his years of experience to work for the people of Robertson County.

Haley is originally from the Dallas area but has lived in Bryan/College Station going on 8 years.
She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Texas A&M and has plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Counseling. She has had a passion for helping people all her life and finds no greater joy than when she is able to make a difference, big or small, for anyone. Haley's goal is to provide children and families an unbiased listening ear in a judgement-free zone in order to help all members of the family grow individually and together. She has a heart of service and is deeply driven to help in any way a person might need. She has worked previously in a different program with Twin City Mission and is excited to make a difference as a part of the YFS team!

Paula Kluck graduated from Baylor University. She enjoyed a 12 year career at the Department of Human Services and 2 years working for an agricultural project. Paula is the proud mom of a 21 year-old daughter. Paula believes education is the key to success in life and feels like she was fortunate that people outside of her family encouraged and supported her efforts to achieve her education. Paula enjoys traveling and learning new things. She also loves to volunteer at community events, as she believes it is important for everyone to give back to their community and "pay it forward" however they can. Paula is a big believer that thinking positively can change your life and wants everyone to reach their full potential and see their self-worth.

Nikki is originally from Mumbai, India, moved to Brenham where she was for nearly 9 years, before her move to College Station, over 14 years ago. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After being an entrepreneur and running her own travel agency in India, she moved to Brenham where she continued to be part of the Hospitality Industry while going to college at Prairie View A & M University, where she was working towards her Masters. Nikki then moved into Banking and Finance and still takes great satisfaction in teaching and empowering financial literacy. Her move to College Station started with her subbing with CSISD and then moved into playing a permanent support role, working with Special Needs, Resource, General Ed. and Math Interventions. Having nearly 10 years with CSISD is something she values greatly, and while there, she also volunteered her time with an after school reading program for 3rd graders. She then moved to work as a Service Coordinator with MHMR on their IDD program while simultaneously being part of their Mental Health Crisis Unit, working on-call covering 7 counties. Nikki then moved to their Mental Health Crisis Outreach Team for a few years before coming to us at Twin City Mission. She was part of the Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Program as a Case Manager and is excited to be our Family Support Specialist for Grimes County. She brings her experiences of providing interventions, recognizing situations, and finding solutions/resources to help serve and support those she works with.

Kelly is from Jewett, Texas. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She has 12 years experience working with youth and their families. She is extremely excited to work for Twin City Mission Youth and Family Services to continue helping others and help make a difference in their lives. Kelly enjoys seeing individuals and families grow in knowledge and skills that will allow them to be successful in life, and help others.

Rain is proud to be born and raised in the Brazos Valley! She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in 2008. Her major areas of focus are Victim Services and Psychology. Locally, she has more than 15 years of experience advocating for youth and family services. Rain feels like the most important resource we provide as Family Support Specialist is to offer a safe listening space for family members to express their thoughts and emotions. Rain's mission is to motivate youth and parents to identify their personal strengths and embrace healthy solutions to create stronger and more connected familial bonds.

Emily Morey is originally from New Orleans, LA, but currently lives in Brenham, TX. She graduated from Saint Edward’s University in 2010, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then went on to Prairie View A&M University, where she received her Master of Arts in Counseling and Educational Leadership. She worked as Smart Moves Coordinator, Dance Teacher and Counselor at the Boys and Girls Club for several years. Emily began interning at Twin City Mission while in graduate school, and loved the program so much, she applied for a job. Emily is now the Washington County Family Support Specialist. Emily loves that the STAR Program is able to provide free services to families who may not normally have access to counseling resources.
