General Description:  Overall responsible for the management of assigned county client caseload.  Maintains caseload through approved short term solution-focused techniques to meet STAR contractual requirements. 

Education/Other Requirements:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related field or Master’s Degree preferred, and a minimum of one year experience working with at-risk youth and families.  An additional year of experience in working with at-risk youth and families may be substituted for each year of college (30 credit hours) to secure a bachelor’s degree. Must be insurable under Agency insurance policies.

 

Compensation:  Commensurate on experience and education + fringe: Occupational and Liability Insurance; Social Security; Annual, Sick and Holiday leave; Life and Health Insurance (when eligible), Retirement Plan (when eligible). Hours:  Full-time position; 40 hours weekly minimum; evenings and weekends, as needed or required. FLSA:  Non-Exempt

 

Salary: $31,290 - $36,254. The salary is based on education and experience.

General Description:  To assist the Controller with the financial record keeping of Twin City Mission.

 

Qualifications:

  • Computer literate, thorough knowledge of accounting, good organizational skills.

  • Prefer academic and/or non-profit experience in accounting (1 year)

  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively with people.

  • High School Diploma or GED required- (some college courses preferred).
     

Duties:

  • To effectively perform general accounting office duties as assigned.

  • File accounts payable, daily deposits, store receipts, timesheets, and recurring entries.

  • Enter new hires and maintain employees into the payroll system and verify that required documents are submitted.

  • Enter and update vendors into the accounting system and verify that required documents are submitted.

  • Record deposits in the Financial Accounting System.

  • Review and record all store receipts and relevant paperwork.

  • Assist in the billing of the contracts and grants.

  • Assist in the monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Compliance with all MOUs and TCM Policies and Procedures.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding Twin City Mission programs and financial information.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding any client involved in Twin City Mission programs.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Controller and/or C.E.O.

 

 

Compensation:  Based on experience / Fringe benefits in accordance with Twin City Mission Policy.

General Description: Responsible for providing Coordinated Entry services in the Brazos Valley to those who are experiencing homelessness or at-risk of becoming homeless. Will assist in implementing and managing a case management system that will empower participants to make the transition from homelessness to stable housing.

Homeless Services Director

Responsible for the management of the Homeless Services Program and staff.  Overall responsible for the daily operations and facilities maintenance of the Homeless Shelter, Community Café, and Community Closet.

Responsible for the management of the Housing Services Program and staff.  Overall responsible for the daily operations of the Twin City Mission Housing programs.  Current grants which support housing are:

 

Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA)

             

Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to change

             

Must be able to communicate with people of all skill levels and abilities

            

 Ensure that program activities are in compliance with all relevant grant requirements.

 

Must document program activities and collect and maintain records for grant reporting purposes.

 

Monitor staff performance to ensure contract compliance

 

Monitor expenditures ensuring the programs operate within applicable grant requirements

 

Must submit all required grant reporting

 

Must be able to communicate and promote the Housing program and agency activities to gain community support.
