Career Specialist

SPECIAL NON-RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

Provides career counseling services to non-residents throughout the seven-county Brazos Valley Region.

Services include:

• Face to face career counseling sessions,
• Review and assessment of employment, educational, and/or vocational needs,
• Assistance with goal setting and service plans,
• Safety planning,
• Assistance with long-term self- sufficiency goals,
• Referral to community resources, such as GED classes, job and career fairs, vocational training, secondary education, etc.
• Assistance provided to qualified clients for Texas Identification Card, driver's license, child care, uniform, career attire, etc.
